Terms of Use
By using rawvs (https://rawvs.com) you agree to these terms.
What the articles are
Each article checks specific claims about an ingredient against primary sources — food standards, government composition tables, peer-reviewed measurements — and cites each one in the sentence that relies on it. Where a source could not be opened or a figure could not be traced, the article says so in its closing section rather than filling the gap.
Nothing here is medical, nutritional, or allergy advice. Consult a professional for health questions.
Quoted material
Articles quote regulations, standards and research in the original language where the exact wording matters. Those quotations belong to their authors and are reproduced for reference, with a link to the source. Where a document's licence restricts commercial reuse, its figures are restated in my own words and the document is linked rather than copied.
Copyright
The writing on this site is © rawvs unless stated otherwise. You may read and share links freely. Reproducing whole articles or substantial parts elsewhere requires permission. Short quotes are fine with a link back.
External links
Articles link heavily to the documents they cite so you can check them. Those sites are not mine and I am not responsible for their content, availability or policies. Government and journal links do move; if one here is broken, the contact page is the fastest way to tell me.
Advertising
There is no advertising on this site today. If that changes, the privacy policy will be updated before any ad script is added.
Accuracy
I check every figure an article is built on against the original document, and corrections go into the article when I get something wrong. That is a process, not a guarantee: standards are revised, sources are superseded, and I make mistakes. You use the information at your own risk, and the linked sources are there so you do not have to rely on my reading of them.
Changes
These terms may be revised. Revised terms apply once posted, with the date above updated.
